RC-SPIRIT3
The module denominated RC-SPIRIT3 module is based on STM32WL33xx chip by STMicroelectronics .
It is a high performance ultra-low power wireless application processor, intended for RF wireless application in the sub-1 Ghz band.
It is designed to operate in both the license-free ISM and SRD bands.
It adopts a single-core architecture embedding an Arm® 32-bit Cortex®-M0+ CPU that can operate up to 64 Mhz.
It integrates high-speed and flexible memory types:
- up to 256 Kbyte flash memory
- up to 32 Kbyte RAM- one time programmable (OTP)
- memory area of 1 Kbyte
Operative Frequency band : 868MHz and 915MHz

Sub-1Ghz technology is becoming one of the chief driving forces behind the Internet of Things (Iot) the main benefits of this technology are:
The low power consumption has always been the predominant feature of the sub 1GHz applications, with new technologies we consumption in sleep mode of less than 1 uA. The consumption of this device is 5.0mA when receiving and 22mA when transmitting at +14dBm (12mA at +10dBm) in sleep mode the consumption is 0.6µA (microamps).
The Long Range has become a reality because with new technology you can reach distances of several kilometers in addition, by occupyng the ISM bands in the wireless spectrum belo 1 GHz, this communication avoids the much more crowded band at 2.4 GHZ, where Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ZigBee and other wireless protocols operate.
The sensitivity parameter is -112dBm at data rates of 38.4 kbps and down to -128dBm when the data rate is 0.300kbps.Interference from other wireless communications can be overcome with 90dB of blocking. The RF output power levels can reach up to +16dBm. All this ensure a robust signaling for long range communications.
